Televisor will absolutely raise your spirits in this French house masterpiece. Heavily processed pianos play uplifting 80s chords while Toronto singer Maya Killtron lays down effortlessly fun vocals.
I missed this track when it came out in 2012 but saw it the other day on /r/nudisco. The song is from an EP on Stardust Records that includes remixes by Tobtok and Tonyboy.
It's easy to make early-Daft Punk comparisons when you blog about nu-disco, but honestly Televisor get so close to that vibe while retaining their own unique sound. After you listen to this, check out their song "Starlight."
