Super cool nu-disco instrumentation from Paris producer Jean Tonique forms the basis of a new remix for London-based indie dance band Crystal Fighters. Filtered synthesizer chords jump in a funky rhythm with slap bass accentuating off beats. The vocals are chilled out in the verse and then jump to a falsetto in the chorus. Meanwhile, an occasional trickle of funk guitar reminds us we are always beneath the disco ball.
