Snakehips - After I Met U

Over the weekend, UK producers Snakehips released a track they've been using at live shows. The Camden duo tries to keep an anonymous profile, something consistent with the disco tradition of exalting the music above its performers.

Soulful electric piano chords introduce an acapella flip from a 2007 Cheri Dennis track, "After I met you boy!" which gets chopped and pitch shifted after the bass falls into place. It's an energetic, head-bobbing R&B track from the future.

"People been asking what this beat is from our live show, thought we'd share it with y'all," Snakehips says on Soundcloud.

Snakehips is currently taking pre-orders for 12" vinyl of their single "Days With You." Like this post for a chance to win a record and a t-shirt. You can also pre-order the song on iTunes.
