Pakem is a 19-year-old producer from the city of Aix-en-Provence in the south of France. He does an amazing job editing this 1983 track by American R&B singer Glenn Jones with an authentic French touch.Pakem drenches it in hazy reverb, carves out empty space with filters, and chops the original into disco oblivion. When the chorus releases the tension, it's like waves crashing ashore on a Mediterranean beach and you are washed out in fizzy ecstasy.
