A few days ago, I stumbled upon this amazing piece of French touch disco from UK producer L'Étranger. It was apparently something produced for a film festival's tribute night to Nico of Velvet Underground fame.While the German vocalist is heard in the track, L'Étranger comes nowhere near her psychedelic musical influences. Thank goodness! This is a feel-good party jam with a swelling warmth and catchy hook.
This track isn't available for download unfortunately, but this do grab this classic L'Etranger track "Falling for You" as a free download if you haven't already! So funky and captures a bit of that Daft Punk dust that eludes so many French house producers.
