Space Race

While there's always one more record or piece of music equipment, we should always be thankful for what we got. That's the message William De Vaughn sends in his 1974 track, and now it has been artfully remixed by the Paris producer French Kiwi Juice,  a new master of French electro who has can do no wrong in my mind. Check out his latest EP if you enjoy this remix.

Another Paris-based producer who can do no wrong in my books is Onra. Thick textures and enveloping bass with vintage analog drum sounds and a constant eye to disco. That's his calling card, and it comes forth in this unofficial remix of Disclosure's "F For You." Free download!

Zac Samuel is a producer from the English seaside city of Brighton. He says he began producing music in his teens "with dodgy microKORGS and broken iPhone headphones." Zac shared his unofficial Duke Dumont remix with me on Soundcloud and I can't resist the echoing piano chords underneath the "Need U (100%)" vocals.

Check out this fresh Chaka Khan edit from 80s Child. As he points out, "I Feel for You" a Prince song from his 1979 self-titled album, but Chaka made it into a hit. Love that harmonica.

Finally, a straight up blast of nu-disco is coming this fall from Italy's DJ Rocca. He's got a forthcoming EP that includes a remix by Dimitri From Paris. Flute solos by DJ Rocca himself! This preview goes hard.
