Max Graef and Andy Hart – Heavy Setters EP

Berlin's Max Graef and Melbourne's Andy Hart team up to produce some feel good disco house in a new EP on the Netherlands-based Sleazy Beats Recordings label. It's a classic, repetitive and sample-rich set of productions that would work in a sweaty basement club or on a Sunday afternoon in the living room.

The label has posted some "low bitrate snippets" of the songs on its Soundcloud, but getting high resolution, full-length versions of the songs will not be as easy as clicking "Buy" in iTunes. That's because the EP is being released exclusively on limited 12 inch vinyl sometime in late July or early August. You can sign-up here to be notified by email. Here's my favorite track from the EP.

If you like what you hear, check out "Sleazy Beats Special Ops Mixtape Vol. 2." It mixes some of this EP with other "low slung" vibes.

"This is the kind of stuff we play when we play out," they write on the Sleazy Beats site, "though if the beer gets flowing we always end up digging in the disco section of our bags." Play it!
