A ridiculous number of Daft Punk remixes has been posted online ever since the first 15 second teaser video for "Random Access Memories" aired in the commercial break during Saturday Night Live on March 2. And the vast majority of them do not add much to the greatness of the original tracks.
But this remix by the French producers Reflex does something right. They definitely lift the energy of the original into the realm of disco house and, dare I say, make something that is more danceable and enjoyable. They call it "seadisco," as in breezy tropical dance music designed to make you move on the beach while the waves crash ashore. Free download!
