Marcus Marr - The Music

London multi-instrumentalist Marcus Marr delivers an epic nine minute journey through positive feelings and funky dance grooves in a fresh release on NYC imprint DFA Records.

The song is driven by an aggressive synth lead and seasoned with repetitive guitar riffs, but it has a lot of dynamics and variation on the central theme, which really is necessary if you're going to extend your track to the length of three average songs. But every time it returns to the refrain, I feel myself bobbing my head up and down. It's irresistible!

Don't just take my word for it. Alex Metric calls it "seriously amazing," and RAC has been "playing it every night."
While you're at it, check out the single's B-side, "Pleasure Moon (DJ Version)," which has a much darker, heavier synth driven feel.
