The Gordon Setter - Play Pool (Stereocool & Fossi Figo Remix)

From the gorgeous Sicilian port city of Catania comes a fresh track so French house you would swear it was touched by Fred Falke himself. Stereocool and Fossi Figo start their remix of Play Pool by Milan's The Gordon Setter with the sound of the beach and seagulls, harkening a coastal Italian sunset with sail boats drifting on the Mediterranean sea. Suddenly, a vocoded vocal loop appears with a bright pad and sets the tone for the rest of the song.

"Since I was born, 70s funky and classical music was my daily meal," the 21-year-old Stereocool told Lazerlust in June. He explained to the music blog Schitz Popinov, "My father is an orchestral musician and a funk junkie, so he introduced me to the music."

This song is a daytime pool party track. There's no major club banging drop. It's for sipping a fruity drink while drifting across the clean blue water on a floatation device. Happy summer!
