It's a happy but blazing hot Sunday here in Austin, Texas, a day perfectly suited for some unabashed nu-disco glee. This track by the 23-year-old Russian producer Miron -- previewing a release slated for July 17 -- could easily be the theme song for a retro-futuristic anime about intergalactic space exploration.
The song includes a full-throttled wide synth chorus, but also has some geared down filtered breakdowns, which are actually my favorite parts, especially the gradual build that starts at 3:24.
